The former Jigawa State governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido has assumed an indifferent attitude toward All progressives Congress(APC) as a political party not suited to take Nigeria to settle for  good socio-economic and sustainable development, lamenting it is only succeeding and suited in throwing the country into confusions.
Lamido said there would be no mistake if one describes the pattern of APC leadership, both at federal and state levels as lacking to follow a regulatory system in dishing out governance.
According to one source quoting the governor,“The party and its government, at all levels, are confused and, consequently, confusing the nation by its incredible ignorance of leadership and what it entails.”
Lamido made these remarks when he spoke at a caucus meeting of the Jigawa state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, held at his country home in Bamaina town, at the weekend.
He took a swipe at  Governor Badaru Abubakar, arguing that he has no moral ground to call members of the past administration ‘thieves’ when he openly told the world that he had “concluded arrangements to arraign thieves who stole over N8 billion from my administration.”
He continued,“The same Badaru, who was a beneficiary of former governor Saminu Turaki’s administration, when he imported vehicles and failed to execute the contract for the Independent Power Project (IPP), which never saw the light of the day, is, today, calling people thieves.”
Lamido expressed displeasure over how Jigawa is suffering from what he described “un-purposeful leadership like other states under APC control.”
“Today, what we are witnessing in Jigawa is manifestation of clueless leadership with relentless bragging, with no any meaningful developmental project that can improve the common man’s life.”
