It was reported that when the delivery got complicated, she was referred to a hospital in Abakaliki, where Dr. Chudi Egbuonu of St. Theresa’s Hospital, attended to her case.

Though the conjoined twins were delivered through cesarean operation arising from complication during delivery, they were confirmed dead.

However, Dr. Egbunonu explained that the development could be attributed to taking harmful medication including herbal drugs, especially in early pregnancy.
